When to Take the SAT and SAT Subject Tests

Most students take the SAT during the spring of their junior year, and many choose to take it a second time in the fall of their senior year. In general, you should take SAT Subject Tests after you've completed the related course, or, for the language tests, after you've studied the language for at least two years.
